Effective for the 2020/21 academic year, the agricultural economics minor will be renamed to the agribusiness management minor.

The Missouri 4-H Foundation has canceled the Missouri 4-H Clover Classic Golf Tournament, which had been scheduled for June. The foundation will celebrate the 11th annual tournament in June 2021.

Science and agricultural journalism students Jacqueline Janorschke and Holly Enowski were named to the 2020 class of Mizzou ’39. Jason Entsminger, agricultural and applied economics graduate student, was recognized as part of the 2020 class of Mizzou 18.

Ben Brown, agricultural and applied economics master’s program alumnus, has been named to AgGrad’s 30 Under 30 Class for 2020. Continue…

Science and agricultural journalism student Holly Enowski has been selected to participate in the 2020 Future Leaders in Agriculture Program. Through the program, 20 undergraduates and 10 graduate students spend a week in Washington, D.C., and attend the USDA Agricultural Outlook Forum.

Karisha Devlin will serve as co-CEO of Annie’s Project Education for Farm Women, a nonprofit that educates women in agriculture. Continue…

Agricultural education and leadership student Alli Abadir was one of 20 students nationwide to receive a scholarship to attend the Future Agriscience Teacher (FAST) Symposium, a professional development program for preservice agricultural education majors.

The CAFNR Adjunct Professorial Title Review Committee approved the request of an adjunct assistant professor title for Dr. Matthew Sveum. Continue…
