Dr. Liu is an Associate Professor and the Graduate Program Coordinator for Hospitality Management at the University of Missouri\u2019s College of Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources. She holds a master\u2019s degree from the University of Houston and a Ph.D. from Kansas State University. Her research focuses on enhancing consumer decision-making and exploring cultural and social influences on food behaviors through a socioecological lens. Dr. Liu has successfully secured over $2 million in research funding from federal and state agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to her research, she is dedicated to enriching students’ education and serves as Vice Chair of CAFNR\u2019s Research Council, Secretary of the Foodservice Systems Management Education Council, and Director of Education for Central CHRIE. Dr. Liu has published extensively in top-tier journals across both hospitality and foodservice disciplines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
