Qianni (Jacqueline) Zhu studied at Liaoning Normal University, Liaoning Province, China, and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She earned her master’s degree at Missouri State University, Missouri (MSU) in 2017. She worked as an assistant manager at one of the local foodservice operations in Springfield, Missouri. She is the member of Foodservice Systems Management Education Councial (FSMEC). Qianni (Jacqueline) will graduate from Mizzou in 2025 under the guidance of Dr. Pei Liu. She currently holds positions as both a TA and an RA at the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources at the University of Missouri. Her research interests focus on sustainability, and consumer behaviors within food and beverage management.

Soojin Lee, Ph.D. 

Soojin Lee studied at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in hospitality Management. She earned her master’s degree with her thesis at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona (Cal Poly Pomona) in 2015 with honors. She worked as a supervisor at one of the largest food and beverage management companies in Los Angeles, California. She is the member of International Association of Food Protection (IAFP). Soojin graduated from Mizzou in 2022 under the guidance of Dr. Pei Liu. She is now a lecturer at the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University. Her research interests focus on food safety and consumer behaviors within restaurant management.

LuPing Lin, Ph.D. Candidate

LuPing Lin studied at Tamkang University, Taiwan, and graduated with her bachelor’s degree in English Language and Culture. She earned her master’s degree with a thesis at the National Kaohsiung University of Hospitality and Tourism in Taiwan, specializing in Tourism Management, in 2019. She is now teaching the course Beverage Management in the Hospitality Management department. Her research interests focus on hospitality human resource management, food safety, and consumer behaviors within the foodservice industry.
